Directly involved, hands-on, in all aspects of administering the facility as a Senior Systems Administrator, including: investigating and making recommendations on hardware and software; preparing policy and procedure documents, corresponding implementation documents, and then implementing the policies and procedures; ensuring compliance with NASA and Federal policy concerning security, etc., and reporting on same; configuring and maintaining servers and services for GISS on a variety of hardware and software platforms; etc.
